"MEET ME AT THE CHEECH"
Sharpe Interior Systems, Inc. is excited to announce our involvement with “The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture” located in the historic Mission Inn district of downtown Riverside. "The Cheech" is a public-private partnership between the Riverside Art Museum, the City of Riverside, and comedian Cheech Marin who is one of the world’s foremost collectors of Chicano art.
As a part of Sharpe’s continued and ongoing support of charitable giving, we have offered ALL SHARPE EMPLOYEES a FAMILY MEMBERSHIP to the museum.
A Family Membership allows entry into both the RAM and The Cheech for 12 months and includes two adults and children under 18 years of age as well as INVITATION-ONLY special events at the museum including exhibits, receptions and programs with limited availability.
ABOUT THE RIVERSIDE ART MUSEUM: Located in the historic Mission Inn district of downtown Riverside, the architecturally significant 1929 building is a former YWCA facility designed by Hearst Castle and AIA Gold Medal-winning architect Julia Morgan. The Riverside Art Center purchased the building in 1967 and it became the proud home of the Riverside Art Museum. The building is open to artists and art lovers as a place to quietly roam and experience the world of art.
ABOUT THE CHEECH: Joining the Riverside Art Museum (RAM) family on June 18, 2022, The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture is a public-private partnership between RAM, the City of Riverside, and comedian Cheech Marin who is one of the world’s foremost collectors of Chicano art. “The Cheech” is the center of Chicano art, not only for painting, but for sculpture, photography, and video arts. The 61,420-square-foot center houses hundreds of paintings, drawings, photographs, and sculptures.
