We would like to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our International Women’s Day luncheon last Thursday at the Sharpe warehouse in Valencia. It was a wonderful event where we gathered to celebrate and honor the incredible women of Sharpe, both in the office and in the field.

During the event, Fayez Zorob spoke about how incredibly proud he is of the women at Sharpe. He emphasized the progress we’ve made as a company, but also acknowledged that while we’ve come a long way, there’s still much work to be done in supporting and empowering women, both in the workplace and beyond.

​

We understand that achieving these goals is possible only through teamwork. It is through collaboration, mutual support, and the collective strength of working together that we can create meaningful change. Just as we build outstanding projects as a team, we must continue to come together to foster a more inclusive, diverse, and equal workplace for all.

At Sharpe, we always take pride in employing “the best”, and while we are incredibly grateful for our Sharpe women, it’s important to note that Sharpe has never been a company focused on checking boxes or meeting quotas.  The women at Sharpe are here because they are the absolute best and most qualified individuals for the job. The fact that they are women is something we’re incredibly proud of, but what truly matters is their expertise, dedication, and the exceptional work they bring to the table.

This year’s theme, “Accelerate Action”, urges all of us to take bold and immediate steps toward achieving gender equality. It’s a powerful reminder that while progress has been made, we must continue to push forward to ensure equal opportunities and representation for everyone.

As International Women’s Day comes to a close, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all the incredible women who make up the Sharpe team. Your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment are the driving force behind our success, and your contributions inspire us all. Each of you brings unique perspectives and strengths that not only enrich our workplace but also help propel us forward. Today, and every day, we are truly grateful for everything you do.
