Sharpe Family Picnic
Newport Dunes
Saturday, August 24, 2024
The Sharpe Family Picnic, held on August 24th at Newport Dunes was a wonderful day of connection and celebration for employees and their families. Kids had a blast with paddle boats, inflatable water toys, and the bustling Kid Zone, which featured face painting, a jump house with a water slide, and endless activities to keep them entertained. Meanwhile, adults joined in on competitive volleyball and cornhole tournaments, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among coworkers.
The picnic space was beautifully decorated, with comfortable seating under elegant canopies, a large bar, and shaded beach cabanas with beach chairs. These thoughtful touches created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere where employees could unwind and enjoy spending time together outside the workplace. A DJ kept the energy high throughout the day, playing upbeat music that added to the festive mood, whether people were dancing or simply relaxing in the sun. Delicious treats like Balboa Bars and Dole Whip were crowd favorites, while food trucks from Wahoo’s Fish Tacos, In-N-Out, The Coconut Truck, and a classic hot dog stand ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy.
What made the day truly special was the opportunity for employees to connect, not just as colleagues, but as part of the Sharpe family. The picnic served as a reminder that family is at the heart of the company’s values, and it was a perfect day to reflect on the importance of balancing hard work with personal relationships. Employees were able to strengthen bonds and celebrate the close-knit community that defines Sharpe Interior Systems, Inc.
