Sharpe Foremen Team Building Golf Tournament
Brookside Golf Club
The Sharpe employees were back together for our 3rd Annual “Foremen of Sharpe Team Building Golf Tournament”. Seventy-two (72) participants joined us on Friday, April 26th for a day of golf with great weather, food and drink, prizes and most importantly, great camaraderie.
We were excited to bring the tournament back to Brookside Golf Club for a second year, just a chip shot away from The Rose Bowl in the city of Pasadena.
The morning began at check-in where participants were given a Sharpe-branded wristband that they would utilize throughout the day and a gift bag filled with lots of goodies. Following check-in was a casual boxed-lunch and announcements by Kenney Asmus and Angelo San Paolo. Prior to driving to your assigned holes, Julie Bandini took a group photo during a military fly over. What great timing!
The golf was a shotgun start with a scramble format to encourage all skill levels to participate. Throughout the day, players competed in a series of competitions for longest drive and closest to the pin as well as competing for first place overall team.
The day ended back where we started, near the check-in area, where prizes were handed out and all gathered to mingle and converse during a 60-minute happy hour.
The Overall Team winners were Mike San Paolo, Lonnie Lansford, Jesus Servin and Benny Gallo. Longest Drive went to Danny Mendoza and Closest to the Pins went to Jesus Servin, Juan Mata and Mike San Paolo. Great playing guys!
Thank you to the Foremen, Field Teams and Project Teams for the work you do every day. These events are made possible because of your collective efforts, keeping each other safe, maximizing production output, and delivering on our clients expectations. A special thank you to the Marketing Team and committee members who organized this event and to our Executive Committee for making this tournament possible. We look forward to doing it again next year!
